Review:

If you are looking for a fast, easy read in the horror/ghost genre this might be the book for you.

The main idea of this book is that everything is centred around a reality show set in a cave complex that is famous for its horror stories.  I found this setup was very creative and fun to read. This was actually the first book from Foxfield that I have read so it was a great introduction to her writing.

The characters had such great personalities which balanced out to make believable relationships and drove the story forward very well.  The writing was really good and skilfully built up the tension and the ghostly atmosphere which surrounded the story and which I truly enjoyed.

My only criticism is that the end of the story felt like it let me down, it made me feel like I had missed something due to a rather abrupt ending and time skip.  I realise it is actually meant to finish that way to create some uncertainty which in a way I kind of understand. I just wonder if maybe there will be a sequel to fill in the blanks which could actually be fun.

I do recommend this book as it is very entertaining and easy to read. The title is also fun to say when people ask what you are reading.

Availability: The book is available in all good bookshops.
